Reservation policies, equipment waivers, and property guidelines for all guests of Aloha Crater Lodge.
Section 01
Reservations at Aloha Crater Lodge are confirmed upon receipt of a valid payment method through our third-party booking platform, CloudBeds. A reservation confirmation number and pre-arrival briefing will be delivered to the email address provided at booking. Your secure entry code will be transmitted via SMS approximately 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.
Cancellation requests must be submitted directly through the booking confirmation portal or by contacting the Lodge via text or phone at (808) 345-4449. Email cancellation requests are accepted but may require 1 business day to process.
Date modifications are permitted subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the original arrival date. The Lodge will make every effort to accommodate requested changes. Rate differences resulting from date changes will be applied at the time of modification.
Guests who fail to arrive on their confirmed arrival date without prior cancellation will forfeit the full reservation amount. No refunds will be issued for early departures after check-in has been completed.
In the event of natural disasters, volcanic activity, mandatory government evacuation orders, or other circumstances beyond the Lodge's control that render the property inaccessible, affected reservations will receive a full refund or complimentary rebooking credit at the guest's discretion.
Section 02
Aloha Crater Lodge offers high-torque e-bikes as an optional service for registered overnight guests. Use of the e-bike fleet is governed by the following conditions:
E-bike reservations must be made in advance through the post-booking Guest Portal. Fleet availability is limited and subject to maintenance windows. Refunds for unused e-bike time are not provided except in cases of mechanical failure confirmed by Lodge staff.
The Lodge's Bio-Regeneration Stack — including the OlyLife Tera-P90 (PEMF and Terahertz frequency therapy device) and the Galaxy G-One (optical frequency therapy device) — is made available to guests as a wellness amenity for personal use only.
Aloha Crater Lodge makes no medical claims regarding wellness outcomes. Hardware is provided as a complimentary recovery tool and the Lodge assumes no liability for results or adverse reactions arising from proper or improper use.
Section 03
Aloha Crater Lodge is a private property situated within a sensitive rainforest ecosystem. All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that respects the property, its natural surroundings, and fellow guests. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The Lodge grounds include natural vegetation, uneven terrain, and active rainforest areas that may present physical hazards in low-light or wet conditions. Guests are advised to use designated pathways between structures and to exercise appropriate caution when moving throughout the property after dark.
Aloha Crater Lodge is located approximately 2 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. While the property is in a designated safe zone, guests should be aware of the following:
The Lodge grounds are home to endemic Hawaiian wildlife including nēnē (Hawaiian geese) and native bird species protected under state and federal law. Guests must not feed, approach, or disturb wildlife at any time. Introduction of non-native plants or animals to the property is strictly prohibited.
Smoking, vaping, and open flames of any kind are prohibited in all indoor areas of the Lodge and within 25 feet of any structure. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund and may result in assessment of cleaning fees.
Aloha Crater Lodge is a pet-free property. Unauthorized pets on the premises will result in additional cleaning fees and may require early departure at the Lodge's discretion.
